Dynamic parameter field does not work in 8.20
Hi there, I have just 'upgraded' from CRDel. 6.0.8 to 8.20.0, but the dynamic parameter fields from my report do not show values. They did while running CRdel version 6.0.8. They work fine in Crystal Reports Is there something that I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance, Peter

What you are probably experiencing is the difference in base code set. Version 6 was based upon Crystal Reports Developer Edition which included a vast set up development files and redistributable files. The was the upside. The downside is the ever changing licensing requirements and the cost of the program ($600). Since I was using Crystal Reports at work, cost was not a major issue then and I wrote Crystal Delivery for my own in-house use. However, that was years ago and I no longer use Crystal Reports at all. My yearly donations rarely exceed $600, so purchasing the developer edition each year is not an option. To keep the project alive, I transitioned the code base to utilize Crystal Reports .NET as included with Visual Studio. The upside is no cost to me and licensing is not an issue. The downside it that the developer tools are not as extensive.
