There should not be a default password, but there was a bug in an earlier version that assigned a password. I will have to make sure that this bug has not reappeared. Also, I will look to see if I can find that password tonight. If you are not using the latest version, you can unistall your current version and then download and install the latest version. Do not use the update because this will not fix the password issue.

After you uninstall, find and delete the CrystalDelivery folder before reinstalling. This will insure that all old support files are deleted.

I will try to locate the old password. If you would like, you can email me the file "CDInfo" in the installation folder. I can use a debug app that I have to find the password.

There should not be a default password, but there was a bug in an earlier version that assigned a password. If you happen to have this issue, then the password should be: 140

Email me the file "CDInfo" in the installation folder.

was this problem ever resolved? I seem to be having a similar problem, and I've already tried all the passwords I would've used.

Oop. Just deleted the CDInfo.cpf file then started the program... now it works fine. Odd.

This is a weakness in the current version of CD. The layout info and password is stored in CDInfo. Deleting that file will remove the password and any custom layout changes (column widths, colors). In the complete rewrite, this weakness will be fixed.

Meh, I'd call it an undocumented feature. It saved me 8 hours of rebuilding my report list from memory. I'm not certain how important it is to password protect the list anyway. Although, if you could enhance the backup features a bit. make a scheduler for it and allow two backup directories above and beyond the default one. That would be awesome.
