Problem with two database connections
My report has two database connections, one to oracle, one to SQL Server. However, I cannot export, view or print the report. When I view it, it displays a login box, but always says login failed. Please Help! The gory details: Under the connections tab I have listed Database Name: Tracs-Donaana Server Name: gc-daso-sql user id: login1 password: Database Name: Server Name: PRIORS user id: login2 password: However, when I click view (with no passwords entered), a login box appears, with Server Name: PRIORS Database: TraCS-DonaAna Login ID: login2 password: As you can see, this is the wrong connection information. Clicking next, I get another database login: Server Name: PRIORS Database: Login ID: login2 password: No matter what combination username password I use, I get a login denied. If I reverse the order of connections on the connection tab, I get login screens Server Name:gc-daso-sql Database: Tracs-Donaana Login ID: login1 password Server Name: gc-daso-sql Database: Login ID: login1 password Some more information, PRIORS is the oracle server and gc-daso-sql is the ms sql server. The oracle server does not have a database name associated with it and crystal reports does not prompt me for one. Both connections are using ADO
