Installation for several users with W2K3 server

Some follow ups to froggy:

We in fact tried the install on a 2003 Server machine.

SO we have 2 problems, the multi-user install which does'nt work but we worked around that by temporarily elevating privileges of normal users. Froggy could tell you more about this.

Second problem is, as reported before, we can't access our report configuration. The little arrow button is here, but doesn't work.

So we wanted to try to edit the configuration files of CD by hand but they are in CPF format, so that's not an option.
Our boss dislikes the idea of configuring CD on another machine.

Long stories short: we're stuck.

Any ideas on :
1. How to help debugging the 2003 issure?
2. Read/write the CPF files?
