I have CD scheduled to send out around 30 emails certain nights. Last night it didn't send out the emails (apparently there was a problem with that computer), so I needed to export them "manually" today. I can't use "export all" because there are other things in the schedule, so I did them one-by-one. It's not difficult, but it takes time (select a report, click Export, wait for it to finish, select the next, and so on).

It would be great if you could select a group of reports (eg. Shift-click or Ctrl-click), click Export and have CD do all of them. CD will let me select a group of reports in the schedule using Shift-click, but when I clicked Export, it seemed to do one (presumably the first in the selected group) and stop. FWIW, CD would not let me use Ctrl-click to select additional reports. If you're going to implement the group export, being able to use Ctrl-click would be helpful.

When exporting multiple reports like that, CD should probably observe the setting for the delay between reports.

Thanks.

James

The rewrite has an option like this...basically a check box beside the reports that you use to mark a set of reports. Then there will be a button that allows you to export all selected reports. The rewrite is still in early development, so this method may change.

FWIW, the check box sounds like a good idea. Seems like it would be easy to use, and probably more obvious to most users than using shift or ctrl-click to select a group of reports.
