Kevin,
Right now it looks like Crystal Delivery will only burst a report on an input parameter. I think there is a way through the API to have it burst the report on a group within the report without requiring an input. Could you look into this and see how hard it would be to implement. For ease of implementation I would only burst group #1 in a report. Also could you post a response to my clarification question (Jan. 13) on the email bursting feature you implemented in release 6.0.9. It ties in with this post.

Is bursting by groups available in any version of your apps?
Is there any free way
a report file that contains data
can be split by group 1 for example
into several files with file name as the value in group 1?
I get daily a .RPT file with data for hundreds (sometimes thousands) of customers that should be split by customer id. Any idea how this can be done automatically?
The file is produced by a system I have no control of.
