After installing Zone Alarm, Crystal Delivery would not export/view/print anything. The first thing I noticed that most of my mapped network drives were no longer present. I fixed this issue and tried Crystal Delivery again. Still, all features failed. I then opened Crystal Reports. Upon doing so, Zone Alarm warned that Crystal Reports was attempting to access the internet. I don’t know why Crystal Reports requires access, but I allowed the access. I then tried Crystal Delivery. This time Zone Alarm warned that Crystal Delivery was trying to access the internet. I think the reason for this is that Crystal Delivery uses multiple controls provided by Crystal Reports. After allowing access for Crystal Delivery, I was able to view/print/email. When I got to a report that was to be emailed, I was prompted again to allow Crystal Delivery to access the internet. By doing so, everything seems to run properly. I understand concerns about internet access and privacy. I can assure you that I have no desire to know what/when/where you use Crystal Delivery. I wrote the program to meet my needs as a mechanical engineer to manage my reports associated with my manufacturing processes. I still use it for this purpose, but it has grown from to accommodate other users. I have not knowingly included any spyware in Crystal Delivery, but I do rely on some plug in controls. These controls include:

1. Crystal Reports controls
2. vbSendMail – freeware email control program

I believe these controls to be spyware free, but I cannot 100% guarantee it. I would also make sure that you download Crystal Delivery from a trusted source. Some freeware sites will add spyware programs along with the program download. The safest source to download from would be my personal space provided by my university at:
