Hello

I have to export different Reports during the whole day. Therefore I installed Crystal Delivery on my Server. Now I have the following problem: I can't be logged in the system the whole time.
It is possible to run Crystal Delivery as a Windows service?

My Crystal Delivery Version is: 6.1.8

I've seen that a new Version 7.x is in beta state. Would it be possible to run the new Crystal Delivery version as a windows service?

Thanks
regards,
mariaant

6.1.8 will not run as a service.

7.x.x.x may in the future, but does not at this time.

6.1.8 runs as a service only if you create a service with the tool FireDaemon-Pro. So you don't have to be logged in with a user the whole time.

Hello crewdang
I recommend you to use the tool "Firedaemon" to run Crystal Delivery as a Windows service. It works fine!
here is the link: http://www.firedaemon.com/

Hi

- I'm using Firedaemon 1.9 GA build 2251. I think the problem is your account. You have to run Crystal Delivery as Local Account and not with your personal account. with the local account crystal delivery runs also when no user is logged into the system. In the properties of the Crystal Delivery Service / Firedaemon Service you have to set the following:
Log on as: Local System Account.
and "Allow service to interact with desktop" has to be inactive.
Try this, it should work.

- You should have activated automatic mode in crystal delivery
