Hello
Can I just start off by saying what a great program CD is. I am currently testing it and can say that it could have a great benefit to us.
A couple on things that would help me would be:
The possibility of having a description column on the interface beside the report name column so I could identify what that report if for. The reason is that I could be using the same Crystal report on many differed schedules and need a way of being able to distinguish which one is which.
If there was a way of being able to return any errors / problems on non generated reports to a log file or better still have CD sending am email alert. This would be really helpful as a way of checking for any problems with my reports or network issues.
If you were able to consider these suggestions it would be much appreciated.
Thanks again for a great program.
Regards

| Version 7.0.3.5 gives you the ability to change the report description. Email alerts will go on the 'maybe' list for a future release. Versions 6.x.x of Crystal Delivery has an alert option that utilizes the Alerts feature of Crystal Reports. This has been removed from version 7.x.x.x because the Crystal Reports support files included with .Net 2005 do not support alerts. Versions 6.x.x were created with Crystal Reports Developer Edition, so these versions were not affected by this limitation. |
