I am trying to run a report which pulls from a dBase file (dbf)

I get this error:

Failed to load database DLL 'crdb_p2bxbse.dll' could not be loaded.
Error in file c:docme!maxlocals.....
Failed to load database information.

I am running other reports which pull from a SQL database without any issues. On the same machine my dBase reports run from within Crystal v9 SP6 and SP7 fine.

I've experienced the same issue running xbase reports. Is this a limitation with the program or is there a solution?

Thank you!

Did you install the Crystal Reports runtime files also?

Hi,

I'm having the same problem. I receive an error indicating that crdb_oracle.dll is unable to load. My reports that utilize the SQL Server connection are fine, but with reports that connect to Oracle via the crdb_oracle.dll, they don't work. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated; thank you!

Hi Takk,
I can recommend trying the repair microsoft sql server error: 824 program that automatically eliminates dbf errors. It is a good solution, if you experience any difficulties with dbx files. Hope this helps
