| Am I missing something? I cannot DRILL DOWN in my reports when viewing them using Crystal Corral... Should I be able to? |

Hmm. I'm not really using CC, but I just tried a quick test and it seemed to work. I was able to drill down by double-clicking a line on the report. I'm running 1.0.0.4.
So, it seems that it should work. Are you double-clicking on a group line in the report? Does it just do nothing or ...?

I'm actually on 1.0.0.5 of Corral...
I'm double-clicking on a group header. The cursor is a magnifying class. After the first double-click, I get a gray dashed outline around whichever field I was pointing to when I double-clicked, but it doesn't drill. If I got out and double-click beyond the fields, I get an outline around the entire record, but no drill-down.
Works fine in Crystal.
Thanks for the response, and any ideas! |

| I tested the sample reports included with Crystal Reports and the drill down works. |

Based on your comment I, too, tried a sample report, and drill-down worked. So I looked to see what was different, between the sample report and mine -- and I, as a rule, turn OFF the "Create Group Tree" report option.
Apparently, the Group Tree is REQUIRED by Crystal Corral to allow drill-down. I turned it on, saved my report, reopened it in Crystal Corral, and I was able to drill.
Thanks for the clue! |
