Run History Check

I have searched the forum extensively to find out why reports scheduled to run daily do not always run. I have tried the recommended "fixes" - changing the last run date, making sure there is a figure in the value field for the export interval and rebooting the computer. I have also tried rebuilding the platform and installing CD completely from scratch.

All suggestions seem somewhat vague or at least unclear as to how the problem is "resolved".

There must be some logic on the code that prompts CD to display "run History check" - so long term, add functionality that does exactly what is says on the tin.
However, in the short term could I have one difinitive answer to correct this problem (my perception is that most posts just trail off and die without a real resolution - not a resounding recommendation for the product as a first post I know - but a swift response may help).

As a footnote is there a manual ?
