I notice that when I enter anything into a field on a submenu that I need to close ("X") the window for it to show up. Not a problem for most, but for a more user friendly feel - maybe add some sort of button to "OK" the change.

FWIW, I find using the Close button counter-intuitive, partly because I think in some situations (in Windows itself or in other programs) the Close button is equivalent to Cancel. OTOH, once you know that that's how it works, it's not difficult to adapt to. And it's not like you have a lot of other choices to get out of the dialogue boxes. :-)

But I don't see how clicking the Close button involves any less clicks than clicking on an OK button, unless by "entering my setup data" you were referring to some part of developing the program as opposed to running it.

You know, now that I think about it, I think what I'd like more than an OK button is a Cancel button (to exit the form without saving any changes). I use that all the time when looking at something to make sure I don't inadvertently change anything.

James
